As the original architect of the PolicyPort system, Joe has been extremely influential in the product’s evolution over the past 15 years. In fact, it was largely Joe’s vision and influence that drove the initiative for Focus Technologies to become a pioneer in developing a web-based policy and claims administration system for the insurance industry.

Joe began his career in the P&C insurance sector 25 years ago with the Florida Insurance Department before moving on to assume a senior technology management role at a Florida-based insurance carrier and, ultimately, then helping to found BIPT (now Focus Technologies). Joe has been involved in all aspects of technology as it relates to both Insurance Regulation and Insurance Carrier Operations. Joe has worked in various management and consulting roles and has used this knowledge and experience to help develop the Focus Technologies service and product solutions offered by the firm today. Currently, at Focus Technologies, Joe is responsible for overseeing Operations and Products Delivery functions.
